I think it was a Christmastime story, and I was surprised by how explicit the imagery was. Martha Jones sort of became The Doctor&#039;s apostle who travelled the country encouraging everyone to pray to The Doctor (or sending him psychic energy or however she described it in sci-fi terms). Of course the Doctor became a Christ figure at the end.

I thought this was a one-off, but by your description it&#039;s a well they frequently go to.</description>
